what is the price of a king series 6 door truck?
Our turnkey King Series 6 Door Pickups pricing depends on the year, mileage of the truck, trim level, single or dual rear wheel, and buyer options and upgrades. Our standard conversion package includes A LOT!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD ONE?
It takes our King Series staff roughly 12 weeks for a build, start to finish, depending on upgrades that are added to the build.
do you only do ford trucks?
Yes, at this time we are specializing in Ford model years 2011-2016 for our King Series 6 Door Pickups. We are sticking with one make and really trying to do it well. Each manufacturer of trucks has its own little nuances, and we want to really know our trucks. So, we stick with one - Ford. And….well…our guys are all Ford guys. We also have Ford diagnostics in-house, so we can be completely thorough as we utilize that software during the build process. Ford Super Duty model years 2017 and up are coming very soon!
how can i insure my king series 6 door pickup?
Many of our customer have had success insuring through Progressive. You can actually do it right online. Once you set up an account, you will be able to enter the VIN number. It then will ask if it is a conversion vehicle, say yes. Next, it will ask you to assign a value to the vehicle, insert the replacement value. They will calculate the premium based on the value you enter. We have had no issues insuring through Progressive. Additionally, our customers are insuring their trucks with their local agents.
WHO CAN I FINANCE WITH?
Our customers have been very happy financing their King Series 6 Door Pickup through Lightstream. LightStream will finance any vehicle from any seller, regardless of make or model, with no loan-to-value restrictions. Lightstream also does not hold the title. You can apply right online and it is super easy with quick approval. If you go on to apply, be sure to select that we are a dealer and you are purchasing a used vehicle - that will get you on the correct path. do you do older model fords?
Yes, our first 6 door project was actually a 1999 Ford F-250. We have done them and would certainly consider a project. We have an awesome 1995 F350 we converted recently. We will also certainly look at any Fords 1979 to 2016.

do all of your king series 6 door pickups have salvage titles?
No, but we like to use vehicles with salvage titles to help keep the price down. Additionally, a King Series 6 Door Pickup with a salvage title is a great opportunity to take a truck that has some damage and turn it into something fantastic. We are proud to undergo the ultimate recycling project; when we purchase two pickups to make one 6 door, we salvage damaged metal and recycle it. Any remaining OEM parts that are left, we sell as cores or list them on our website for sale. You can search our OEM parts inventory at www.kingseriespickup-shop.com.

what is the total overall length of your king series 6 door trucks?

can you do a dually?
Yes, we can, we have, we will. The 6 door long box dually looks really nice and LOVES to tow, almost like it wants something behind it. Generally for a dually, expect a price increase of $8,000-$10,000 compared to a single rear wheel 6 door truck.
does the CONVERSION affect the fuel mileage?
No, not that we have experienced. Not pulling anything, a King Series 6 Door Pickup should get about 13-15 highway MPG. Of course there are a lot of factors that affect fuel economy, such as towing, what kind of tires are on the pickup, the quality of fuel you’re using, if you have a tonneau cover, etc. The conversion itself has not impacted the fuel economy of our King Series 6 Door Pickups.
does the CONVERSION affect the towing capability?
We typically add about 800-1000 lbs to the truck with the conversion to 6 doors, depending on options, upgrades, tire size, fuel capacity, etc. We provide the new gross vehicle weight for the vehicle, so you are able to calculate your GVWR. Our frame welds are reinforced, diamond plated and gusseted with a section of OEM frame out of a donor Super Duty. We have personally put the towing capabilities of our King Series 6 Door Pickups to the maximum test and have seen no change from the original potential. In fact, we have been repeatedly impressed with the towing results, not only from the frame but also from the 6.7L and 6R140 transmission.
